Once there were two people bounded by love and because of ‘genuine’ love, in the year 2000, I was made! and blessed to live by our Lord, and because I’m blessed I was born on September 13, 2001. This year, 2018, I am now 17 years old, allow me to introduce myself! I, Keyzy Lyn E. Felizar, the eldest children of Christopher A. Felizar and Honeylyn E. Felizar, they don’t want me to feel sad nor to be alone so they gave me a brother and two more baby sisters. They raised me as a good daughter that every parents wanted. I’m in love with the touch of Lavender because it removes all my bad memories and gives me relaxation. I also love floral designs which brings happiness in me.

I grew with a love for my studies, prioritizing what is more important, giving respect to others that I want them to give me too, having a healthy lifestyle and above all with a huge fear in God. I love collecting  books especially those books that’s all about my favorite subject-Science. I also love going to different places here in our country to gather more knowledge in those places and to walk in the past histories or events that happened on that place. I’m brave because I know that our Heavenly Father is always by my side but I admit proudly that I have a fear on falling in love with the wrong guy, because no one wants to be treated that way.

I’m studying as hard as I could to fulfill my dreams that I made to myself; ever since I started to understand the true essence of life and that is to become the greatest doctor of all time, a wise doctor in giving cures to those who are needed and a friendly doctor that is paid for an appropriate price. I know that sometimes I lie but I promised myself that when I graduated as a medicine student and passed the licensure exams for physician I will never let my feet to leave the ground, as the saying goes “Leave your feet on the ground, so that happiness can be found.” I always put this in my mind.

I will always look back to see what others have done to help me, to inspire me to continue my journey in studying despite of all those storms and hurricanes that shakes and trembles me to stop me from studying but still your prayers and supports reigned in the end there will be no barriers in reaching for my dreams because God will pave the way! I’m nothing without my mother and my father, but they exists so I’m not nothing, I’m not worthless I have a purpose in this world and I’m still working on it. But now I will play the most challenging roles in life: to become an obedient daughter, a caring sister, a loving grandchild and to be a supportive friend. I’m now a Grade 11 student at St. Joseph College- Olongapo and I’m almost there! I’m about to finish my High School life! I’m about to step to another world wherein I’m still a stranger so I’m about to face again new challenges that I need to familiarize.

“God is greater than the highs and lows”

Even though I’ve come this far I still never forget to pray to thanked God for guiding me and for lighting those dark paths that I’m taking. Nowadays, I’m taking care of my baby sister during weekends, sometimes I do heavy household chores but my father loves me too much so he doesn’t want me to get tired and treated me like a princess because he saw my hardships in school I wake up early in the morning and went home by 6:00 pm due to loads of work. Though, my mom always reminds me to balance my studies and my role in our house and yes you heard it right I’m a princess in my own definition, I’m a princess that has no royal guards to watch me 24/7, a princess that has no crown or power to rule over others. I’m not a princess that you usually saw on the movies, I make mistakes, I make my hands rough, I worked hard to get what I want. I never dreamed to get spoiled by anyone and I will never dream it! Because I’m not that type of girl that is just hoping or wishing to have the things I want in an instant. I want that item, yes! But I will work hard for it that is one of my personalities that my beloved mother taught me. They straighten my curves and they cleaned up the mess that I did.

Frankly speaking , being a senior high school student is not easy. I have to manage my time well, I have lot of things to do — Investigatory Project, Robotics, scaffolds, reviews and practices. But still I am thankful and happy for these will help me to become better because as soon as I grow older time management will be very beneficial. Despite of tons of work to do I always  find time for leisure activities; I play badminton which is my favorite sport I even ride a bicycle to unwind. I love drinking milk tea for  it boosts my mood one time I tried too buy different brands of milk tea and compared them. I can proudly say that one brand stole my heart and that is the ‘Macao Imperial Tea’. I am also part of different clubs and organizations which I am very proud of. I’m a part of Youth for Environment in Schools- Organization (YES-O) as Secretary, Robotics Club (P.I.O), and Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics Society (STEM Soc) Peace Officer. I am a very busy person but still it is good that I can manage both academics and serving the school community.

You are never too old to set goals!

I am an avid fan of Bo Sanchez and Francis Kong they are motivational speakers, good thing is that I’m really motivated by them. I also love listening to Bo’s Full Tank wherein he gives advice and gives pray over I am indeed #Blessed. While I love reading Francis Kong’s advices which truly has  #PassionPurposeProductivity. I am also a fan of Edgar Allan Poe, he is my favorite poet I am really inspire and his compositions were good he’s best known for his poems and short stories. My favorite stories are The Raven, The Scarlet Letter, and Doctor Foster. 

My favorite movie genre is Sci-Fi and Romance I am not fond of Action movies and Horror for it makes me feel anxious. I love the movie Flatliners, Annihilation, Lost in Space, and The Shape of Water for Sci-Fi, I also love The Midnight Sun, The Longest Ride, Best of You, High Strung, Barefoot, Everything Everything, and The Space Between Us for Romance. In the field of music I love listening to Acoustic for it calms me, I’m a fan of Ed Sheeran. I don’t have a favorite song because the way of choosing a song for me depends on my mood.

They never begged me to change my attitude because they want me to be real not to be perfect. I’m not talented but I will try to do the things they want me to do.  Dancing? I can dance! They want me to sing? I can but I can’t reach high notes, Acting? Yes I can but I can’t catch your feelings but at least I tried, quitting is not my thing. I have a big determination in life, I want to help my parents in raising our family as soon as I graduated and live the life we are all dreaming of. My life is not easy, so when I need motivation to keep me going  I used to listen to worship songs because they build me up and make me feel stronger this applies when I’m doing my assignments and projects. Every Sunday, I go to church with my family to listen to God’s word and I love it when I share it with my friends to inspire them and to change their life.

Turn your worries into worship. 

So I think I will stop right here for now, but my life won’t stop so I will update those significant events that may happen in my everyday life that is why you should keep on reading it to stay updated in my life!
